Séverine, Sophie, and Véronique continue the family tradition of the campsite created by their father, Jean-Paul. On this family farm, someone once advised them, “Here, you should start a campsite, it’s the perfect spot.” And so, in July 1973, Jean-Paul came up with the name for the new campsite and, together with his wife Nicole, began developing it, building the very first swimming pool for campers in the region!
The three sisters started helping out at the campsite from the age of 12. Each of them continued their studies in Communication, Hospitality, and Accounting, and in 2008, they all decided to take over the running of the campsite. They fully manage the restaurant, the grocery store, and the facilities—this place that has become a “big ship”—all while keeping the family spirit they are so deeply attached to.
All three mothers, Séverine, Sophie, and Véronique, have found balance in the choice they made: to live two lives in one!
