Séverine and her godson Alexis welcome you to Camping le Crêtoux. They are locals, originally from the village of Saint Eustache, very close to the campsite, which has been run by their Chappet family since 1963. As children, they would take part everyst of May in the family reunion which gathered… at Crêtoux, of course!

In 2024, everything changed: Séverine left her sales job in Annecy, Alexis left his Law studies, and together they decided to carry on the family business after the passing of their cousin Annette. “We had to learn everything,” says Séverine—from maintenance and landscaping to all the skills needed to run a campsite. But all the rest they already had: a welcoming spirit, passion for their region, and the desire to share it. When it comes to passions, Séverine loves hiking in the mountains. For Alexis, it’s all about wood… and cheese!

So when you arrive at Crêtoux, don’t hesitate to ask them for advice about your stay—they’ll gladly share the very best discoveries from this region they love so much.
