David and Marguerite welcome you to Camping du Lac in Talloires. This small family campsite “with your feet in the water” was created in 1963 by David’s great-grandmother. It was a pioneering project at the time for this hotel owner from Talloires.

So, when David and Marguerite decide to leave their native Savoie to carry on the family business, it’s first and foremost a lifestyle choice as young parents wanting to offer their children a fulfilling environment close to nature. Here, the lake is essential and more than enough, the views are breathtaking, and the natural surroundings are preserved. David is committed to maintaining the family spirit of the campsite. There are no mobile homes, no entertainment programs here. Guests come to enjoy the peace and beauty of the place. The family lives in this little corner of paradise for much of the year, but they also spend winters in Savoie, where David teaches yoga. In their free time, the family travels in a van, looking for climbing spots and new discoveries. But they know it well, and pass it on to their guests: here, at this timeless campsite, you can truly experience the happiness of living fully.
