Jean-Philippe carries on the legacy of a family of hoteliers who founded the Auberge du Semnoz. He tells us that it all began in the 1920s, in this family farmhouse where musette dances were organized. Born in Saint-Jorioz, Jean-Philippe is the 4th generation of this family who, for over 100 years, have been welcoming visitors. Jean-Philippe lives his profession as a chef at the heart of his local area. He wakes up very early to source his cheeses, meats, cured meats, and wines directly from local farmers and producers. This man of the land, deeply rooted in the Laudon valley, offers his guests a cuisine that reflects who he is: generous, simple, and authentic.
