Céline is the head of navigation at the Compagnie des Bateaux du lac d’Annecy, whom we meet that day on a work site in the heart of the Sevrier dry dock.
Passionate—that’s the best way to describe this Annecy native, who discovered the Company in 1992 as a deckhand during a summer job… and it was love at first sight!
Céline learns and trains relentlessly. In 1997, she earned her river boating license for passenger vessels and became the first female pilot on Lake Annecy! Today, despite her many responsibilities, she pilots whenever she can to stay in touch with “her” lake, which she never tires of, and to share her knowledge with the passengers. So if you’re lucky enough to board with this extraordinary Captain, Céline just might inspire new callings!
